Welcome to East Kootenay Beekeepers, your local community of bee enthusiasts and  branch of the BC Honey Producers (BCHPA).   Our mission is to support, educate, and grow the beekeeping community in the East Kootenay region while promoting sustainable and responsible beekeeping practices.

Members gain hands-on experience through training sessions, field days, and workshops covering hive management, swarm prevention, winter prep, queen rearing, disease control, and sustainable apiary management. These events foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and confidence in beekeeping.

As a branch of the BC Honey Producers, East Kootenay Beekeepers offer members expert support, educational materials, mentorship, and access to industry professionals and experienced beekeepers. Whether troubleshooting hive issues or refining best practices, members benefit from valuable resources and ongoing guidance.
